Xu Hongfei,an internationally acclaimed sculptor best known for his Chubby Women series,now turns to history.With his work Forward,Forward,he honors the East River Column—a guerrilla force that fought bravely in South China during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.Sculpture brings their memory vividly to life.
